To emphasize the 20th anniversary of Croatian Film Days, throughout the designed materials we used elements from the first issue of the festival, held in 1992. The old (first) poster was used as a background for the new one, scanned pages from the old catalogue are shown in the new catalogue, the billboard shows a photo of that same billboard spot from 20 years ago... we also took over the treatment of typography from the first catalogue and layed it out in Futura and Times New Roman. Twenty years ago this choice was probably used due to the limitations of the available type, but now it also functions as a reference to the modern tendencies of zero design or even ironic treatment of typography.
